One of my friends related this dream to me (revised edition, to make it clearer):
“I start out in the shop where I get all my tattooing done. I decide it’s time to get my nipple pierced.”
“So I ask the guy, ‘Hey, man, I want my nipple pierced. Can you do that?’ The guy says, ‘Sure, but I should warn you, there could be complications.'”
“‘Damn the consequences,’ I say. So he gets out a spike and a mallet and lubes my nipples up with ice, and then pops the spike through. Amazingly there’s no pain. He leaves the spike in and tells me not to touch it for two weeks.”
“Well, of course I’m tempted. And I look at it for a while. Finally, a day before the two weeks is up, I figure: ‘Hey, what can it hurt?’ So I touch my nipple.”
“It falls off.”
“I’m standing here, looking down at my nipple with a spike in it, lying on the ground. Then I’m panicking and running around, pointing at the nipple on the ground, and then pointing at where the nipple used to be on my chest.”
“Then I wake up. I don’t want to get my nipples pierced anymore. Ever.”
