Flame of Hope – January 2017

Back in January, I took a look around and saw what many of my friends were thinking: they lacked hope, and they feared for their friends, families, and themselves.

So, to that end, I decided that I would kindle a Flame of Hope for all of them. Every day for the next four years, I would kindle a Flame of Hope and post it online, so that people could understand: someone saw them, someone was willing to listen, and someone was willing to be hold that light aloft.

Rev. Melissa Hill is, I think, an equal partner in this project: she has also been kindling this flame at her altar as long as I have (and has, in many ways, been a rock that has helped me continue this work).

If you want to see how this whole Shindig of Hope got started, you can check out the original blog post over on the Three Cranes Grove, ADF, webpage.

Above are the images of the first twelve candles lit. The rest of these graphics will be available (roughly) monthly as part of my Multimedia Pass here on Patreon: you can always see each flame as it is posted daily at the Facebook Page for Tending the Flame of Hope, but I’ll be posting the collages here as I create them, rather than to Facebook, for the foreseeable future (and frankly, I think they look pretty cool, all lined up like that).
