A Rain Meditation

Today, the rains came in, and it was a perfect day to record something joyful about how those rains fill and flow across our world. My camera was perhaps a bit foggy-lensed, but the video came out pretty well, nonetheless.

I recorded this for The Magical Druid‘s IGTV channel, and it’s about 4 minutes of rain and meditation, with a fairly loud clap of thunder at about the 55 second mark (you can see the flash of lightning right at the 42 second mark).

Working the thunder and the sounds around me into the video is always a fun part of a nature-based spirituality: you never know when the Earth Mother is going to give you a bit more theatre to work with, but the more work you do, the more you can focus it, and make it look almost like you were planning it from the start.

If you like this little meditation, consider becoming a patron. I’d love to have you.
