Today, Rev. Avende and I collaborated on a prayer to plant a tree, in this case, an Irish Yew, that will eventually topiary itself into the shape of a bear. Technically, we recorded this a couple days earlier at our Cutios Druid Moon Rite, which happens to be a ritual to Artio, the Celtic bear goddess from Switzerland, but in order to get stuff up and running on the social media sites for the Cranes, I have to get things out a bit earlier so I can reduce their stress over posting. Makes good sense.
Anyway, this one was fun, unscripted, and kind of perfect for us as a Grove.
Because the yew will eventually become a topiary in the shape of a bear, we called this our “build-a-bear Druid Moon,” which was wonderfully appropriate.
How will you celebrate Arbor Day today?
(Oh, and if you like bloopers, there’s a good one on this, which I’ll release for Patrons only!)
