One of the things that really stood out like a sore thumb when I put the priesting report together a couple of weeks ago is that while I had vaguely stated a few goals in my 2021 report, they weren’t really in a place I could find them easily, and they didn’t have good measurements included in them.
In reviewing that, I decided to clearly set out some goals, with measurement criteria, for myself.
Mostly, I hope this will make the process of crafting next year’s report easier on me, but I’m also hoping that by setting a standard out, I will add a lot of structure to the process of creating and crafting this work.
It’s really important to note: I don’t think I’ll accomplish all these goals. I’ll probably do pretty well, but some are really “pie in the sky” for me (visiting a shrine in Trier, Germany? That’s unlikely).
Adding a series of “stretch goals” gives me something more to strive for, and access to a whole additional level of planning. I do like to push myself a bit, and this should help me do that… and stay on task.
Anyway, I figure if I’m going to have a performance review from the Clergy Council Officers, it would be useful to have goals set out… and since the CC doesn’t set out any actual goals, it falls on me to do it for myself.
So… I guess over the next year, we’ll find out if this helps me crank more stuff out.
Check out my goals in the attached .pdf!
What are your goals, friends?

It’s worth noting, if I’m even marginally successful on this plan, Patrons will get first access to a lot of this stuff, as they always have. If you’re interested in any of this stuff, consider becoming a Patron if you can; just choose a level, and go!
See you soon!
