Silent Film Project: The Scene In Winter

It wasn’t really intentional to make this photo look like an old, sepia toned silent film, but because I took it in the dark and using a filter was the only way to get it to come out, well, the effect is exciting on its own.

This is where I hope to film the Core Order of Ritual Silent Film: it’s the back yard of the UUCE in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, where we’ve been doing ritual for a while. I want to erect a few standing stones as backdrops, and let the foliage grow in. It’s January as I type this, but I hope that this will be an ideal location come late April or May, when I want to film.

Honestly, seeing it with that filter just makes me even more excited for this process.
