Why did they pick me to protect you?
\nThe hall was full of knights ready
\nAll with more experience than me
\nEvery one less afraid of danger and death.
\nSo why was it me that M’lady picked
\nTo guard your soul and protect your body
\nAgainst evil and pain, God and Goddess?
\nI am called on a quest to protect you
\nAgainst a pantheon of good and evil
\nThat seeks to destroy me, but can’t.
\nIs this why? Because to destroy me
\nThey must destroy those near me?
\nIf this is the way of the Gods
\nI wish no part of their evils.
\nBut I will protect you, because if not
